Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1st 1995 was born in Berkeley California. She is an actress known for Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) as well as Chrissie Mayr's Content House

Asia Argento grew up in Rome Italy. Her family is a group of actors, and she has also been doing both professions. In 1985 she made her acting debut in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni. She played the lead role in Cristina Comencini's Zoo (1988) as well as part of Michele Soavi's 1989 feature film The Church. In 1989 she portrayed Nanni Moretti's child in Red Wood Pigeon. (Also directed by Moretti). Close Friends (written and directed by Michele Placido) was when Asia's acting career really began to take off. Her roles went from being very young before becoming more mature. The movie was well-received at the Cannes International Film Festival. Trauma (1996) and The Stendhal Sydrome (1996) are others she's collaborated on with her renowned father. The Phantom of the Opera will be her third film together with her father, the first two films being Trauma & The Stendhal Syndrome. Asia's absorbed and intense approach to acting has also been used by Giuseppe Piccioni in Condannato a nozze. Patrice Chereau directed Queen Margot and she also played an important role. In 1995 she worked with Michel Piccoli in Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion , which again brought her a David diDonatello as well as the Grolla of Oro. Asia started directing as profession in 1994. Her first short film was Prospettive. The documentary she created about her dad was followed by Abel/Asia (1998) the film that was awarded a prize at the Rome Film Festival in 1998. They were each produced between 1996 and 1998. Asia's first feature length film debut came in the form of Scarlet Diva (2000) in 1999. She also played the role of lead actress and also wrote the screenplay. It was released on May 20, 2000 in Italy and across the globe. The film won awards at the Williamsburg Festival of Brooklyn, New York. Anna Lou, the first of two daughters she has was born in the month of January 2001. The year 2002 saw Asia as a character in The Red Siren with Jean Marc Barr, and Rob Cohen's Action-Thrille, directed by Vin Diesel. Asia has also been the author of numerous short stories, which have appeared in numerous high-end magazines.
